Admissions process

Please expect to receive your admissions decision up to four weeks after applying.

Materials needed

Transcripts. All transfer applicants must submit?unofficial or official?transcripts with their application. Once admitted, transfer applicants must also submit up-to-date?official?transcripts with their final grades if they have not already.

    How to declare or apply

    Submit an internal declaration if you are:

    • A pre-major student at UW Bothell
    • Already in a major at UW Bothell and you want to switch majors
    • Already in a major at UW Bothell and you want a double major or double degree

    Submit a transfer application if you are:

    • A current student at UW Seattle or UW Tacoma
    • Transferring from another college or university outside of the UW system

    Suggested preparatory courses

    Minimum grades. 足彩app哪个是正规的 Mathematics major has no entry prerequisites, but other courses in the major have registration prerequisites of 2.0 or higher in Calculus I, II, or III. 足彩app哪个是正规的 grades must be recorded on your unofficial or official transcript(s).

    In-progress courses. You may take the courses below either before or after entry into the major, so any of them can be in-progress.

    Transfer courses. View a compilation of equivalent courses at other UW campuses and Washington state colleges, as well as important notes on transferring courses.

    1. General education courses
    2. One-year Calculus series (3 quarters or 2 semesters)
      • Must cover content equivalent to UW Bothell’s STMATH 124, 125, 126 series.
      • Calculus III transfers. Because of variation in Calculus III offerings at Washington state colleges, you may also need to take Calculus IV (MATH& 254 or 264) to gain equivalency for Calculus III.
    3. Differential Equations
      • Must cover content equivalent to UW Bothell’s STMATH 207
    4. Matrix Algebra (or Linear Algebra)
      • Must cover content equivalent to UW Bothell’s STMATH 208
    5. Multivariable Calculus
      • Must cover content equivalent to UW Bothell’s STMATH 224
    6. Intro Computer Programming, equivalent to one of the following UW Bothell lecture + lab pairs:
