足彩app哪个是正规的 School of IAS may limit registration in some courses to allow students who have already declared an IAS major to register for classes first. See additional details in MyPlan or the Time Schedule for more information about restrictions and when non-IAS majors may register for the course.

Did you declare an IAS minor? If there is a registration period restriction on a class that counts toward your IAS minor, please send an email to IASapply@uw.edu to request an Add Code.

Entry codes are five-digit numbers issued by the School of IAS for adding or dropping restricted courses. 足彩app哪个是正规的re are three types of entry codes: Add codes, Drop codes, and Faculty numbers.

Add Code Requests

IAS faculty have full discretion to approve or deny requests for Add Codes. 足彩app哪个是正规的s should email the instructor directly to describe their interest in the closed course and how enrollment will support their specific learning needs.

If the instructor gives permission for the student to join their closed course, the student can forward this approval to the School of IAS front desk team: iassas@uw.edu. Advisors may also forward those emails on behalf of their students. Please note that the email message must include evidence that the course instructor gives permission for an add code. Requests without instructor approval will not be considered.

足彩app哪个是正规的 front desk team will reply directly to the student’s email with an Add Code for registration within two business days. A copy of the instructor’s permission and the assigned Add Code are saved in IAS records.

Add codes for special courses

足彩app哪个是正规的 School of IAS sponsors several programs that require students to enroll in special topic courses as a condition of participation (e.g. Global Scholars Program, SEAPF, BIS 403 Washington, D.C. Human Rights Seminar).

Drop Codes

Enrollment in special topic courses typically require a Drop Code if students wish to remove the course from their schedule.

Only IAS staff may provide students with a Drop Code, unless the Advisor is explicitly granted permission to change the student’s registration directly. Please advise students to connect with the special program for help acquiring a Drop Code.

Faculty Numbers

Some IAS courses require students to first obtain a Faculty Number from the School before registering. This includes independent study courses such as 398 or 498 and special topic courses for programs like Global Scholars and the Southeast Asian Pasts & Futures Program (SEAPF).

Independent study courses require a faculty number instead of an Add Code for registration. 足彩app哪个是正规的s should identify an IAS Faculty Sponsor and fill out the online Project Proposal Form to seek enrollment. Once the project proposal is received, the IAS Faculty Sponsor will be prompted to submit an approval form to authorize enrollment, after which the IAS front desk team will email the student an entry code for registration. 足彩app哪个是正规的 full registration process is detailed is outlined on the Research Opportunities for IAS 足彩app哪个是正规的s webpage.
