Its goal is to empower students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

  • Academic Success Coach: This free service provides guidance to help students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.

First Year & Pre-Major Program (FYPP) is the home of our first and second year (or pre-major) students at UW Bothell. We are the first place to turn for all of your academic needs, from scheduling classes and meeting faculty, to discussing your future career goals.

Our program is responsible for the Discovery Core Experience courses (required in the first quarter), the writing courses, the language courses, and several other general education and first year elective courses designed to support student success.
