Registration begins at <strong>6:00 a.m. PST<\/strong>. on your registration date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sdb.admin.uw.edu\/students\/uwnetid\/register.asp\">Complete the pre-registration steps<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>before your registration date each quarter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/myplan.uw.edu\/course\">Use MyPlan<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to build your schedule and register each quarter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/myplan.uw.edu\/audit\/#\/degree\">Audit your degree(s)<\/a> <\/strong>after registration to confirm everything counts correctly. <strong>Click &#8220;Refresh Audit&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"timeline\">When do I register?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please note that each course and\/or section may have a specific set of restrictions. We recommend reviewing the notes of each course to learn more.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All Periods:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All matriculated students can register for most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/crscatb\/css.html#css101\"><strong>100-level<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/crscatb\/css.html#css205\"><strong>200-level<\/strong><\/a> CSS courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration Period I:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CSS majors<\/strong> (Applied Computing, CSSE, Computer Engineering) can register for most CSS courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Majors that require CSS courses<\/strong> can register for those specific courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration Period II:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Most CSS courses<\/strong> become available to students in <strong>any major or CSS minor<\/strong><span> <\/span>(not Pre-Major or non-matriculated students).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration Period III:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Most 100-level and 200-level CSS courses become available to all students<\/strong> (including Pre-Major and non-matriculated students) as long as there is still space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other important registration considerations<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/crscatb\/css.html#css301\">CSS 301 (Technical Writing)<\/a><\/strong>: Attendance to the first class session is mandatory. After this, we cannot register you even if seats become vacant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CSS 496 and 497 capstone courses \u2013 Registration only permitted through the first Friday of the quarter, but it is strongly recommended to register prior to the first day of class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>300-400 level courses are <strong>not open to premajor or extended premajor students<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"issues\">Resolve registration issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course is full \/ needs add code<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>足彩app哪个是正规的re is no longer a waitlist for full CSS courses. If a course section is full, please use the Seat Availability Notification system to sign up for alerts for space availability. Also, we recommend in cases where all sections are full, to check the schedule periodically in the rare case that additional sections are added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CSS 198, 199, 397, 495, 496, 497, 498, or 499: <\/strong>Read about <a href=\"#special\"><strong>special registrations<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>We urge you to register for backup courses <\/strong>while you are waiting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Repeating courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have taken a CSS core class twice before and plan to attempt it a third time, you may need to petition. Review the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=W9229i_wGkSZoBYqxQYL0hs3Q7yQqENCvl_eAkWFOddUNFpLTkFTRTE3SEExV1pSM0tIVVZSQlFJTS4u\">repeat petition<\/a><\/strong> information to determine if this applies to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to retake a class for the second time or if it is not a CSS core course, email <a href=\"mailto:cssadv@uw.edu\"><strong>cssadv@uw.edu<\/strong><\/a> for assistance.
