While the facility currently specializes in advanced chemistry instruments, it also supports research in environmental sciences, engineering, and biology. Our tools are designed to help users characterize samples \u2014 whether\u00a0you’re\u00a0identifying\u00a0compounds, analyzing purity or exploring material composition.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hours:<\/strong> 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Class instruction and active research have scheduling priority. Once partners are approved to use the lab, they will be granted access to view instrument availability and schedule their own time. On the day of use, lab staff will provide instrument access and support as requested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting started on a project <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Submit a project proposal<\/strong> \u2014 Begin by completing the project proposal form<\/a> outlining your intended analyses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sign the Visiting Scholar\/Researcher Agreement<\/strong> \u2014 Once your proposal is approved, we will send you the Visiting Scholar\/Researcher Agreement to sign via DocuSign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Complete billing agreement<\/strong> \u2014 Finally, sign the billing contract to finalize access and enable instrument use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    All projects are supported by a team of STEM lab coordinators specializing in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering and instrumentation management.
