Where does our food come from? What determines how food smells and tastes? How does what we eat affect our minds, bodies and mood? What foods are popular around the world? What is food insecurity and why does it exist? 足彩app哪个是正规的se are a few of the questions we will discuss as we explore the science, history and culture of food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do 足彩app哪个是正规的s Do in the Course? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this course students will reflect on their own relationship with food and how that connects to their daily lives, families and communities. Groups will collaborate in a project to delve deeper into specific topics that relate the science of food to health within the context of social and cultural influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Your Professor <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mlodnosky has taught chemistry at University of Washington Bothell (UWB) since January 2022. She previously taught at Cascadia College and North Seattle Community College. Originally from California, Dr. Mlodnosky received her BS in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University. After receiving her PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Washington, Dr. Mlodnosky and her husband decided to settle permanently in the Seattle area. Although organic chemistry is her area of expertise, she has also taught a variety of other courses including general chemistry, introductory chemistry and women in STEM. When not engaged in teaching and professional development, Dr. Mlodnosky enjoys playing soccer, CrossFit, gardening, culinary arts, crafts, riding her dirt bike, and wine tasting with friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
