Through this course, we will examine the growing urgent need for imagination, creativity, and innovation and will explore and develop personal approaches to these skills through interdisciplinary inquiry. Contemplation, constructive play, readings and active discussions will launch written and visual arts projects designed to broaden creative resourcefulness and challenge personal and collective limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Will We Learn?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this 50% hybrid course, students work independently to identify and expand their creative potential through a range of mediums and methodologies.&nbsp; Group projects will explore the social potential of creativity through the design and implementation of community-based art projects that utilize what students have learned and impact the larger campus community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Take This Course?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Creativity, by definition, explores the unknown\/the yet to be, and is often seen as intimidating or even unachievable.
