{"id":6283,"date":"2014-09-15T15:51:41","date_gmt":"2014-09-15T15:51:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=6283"},"modified":"2025-12-30T09:15:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T17:15:09","slug":"rn-admits","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/nhs\/graduate\/mn\/admissions\/rn-admits","title":{"rendered":"RN-to-MN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>While applicants for the MN program are expected to have a bachelor\u2019s degree in nursing, the Nursing Program recognizes that RNs may have gained experience and knowledge in management and leadership, and\/or community health nursing through academic, professional and personal experiences outside of a bachelor\u2019s program in nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experienced RNs with a baccalaureate degree in a major other than nursing may demonstrate competency equivalent to the bachelor\u2019s degree in nursing by writing a petition for each of the two competency areas to the MN admissions\/curriculum committee or by completing the equivalent coursework. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each written petition must demonstrate knowledge and experience acquired through your academic, personal, and professional experiences in the areas of; leadership and care coordination, and population health in nursing. As noted; alternatively, to the written petition(s), you may <a href=\"#coursework\">enroll in the coursework to gain competency<\/a> in one or both of the areas of leadership and population health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>足彩app哪个是正规的 committee will review your written petition and recommend admission (upon receipt of a graduate studies application) or recommend taking specific UW Bothell BSN coursework (earning a minimum of a 3.0 grade) for enrollment\/application to the program.
