Vanessa Lopez-Littleton is a health equity scholar-practitioner who is committed to building inclusive and just public institutions. She actively participates in designing innovative graduate and undergraduate programs, works with diverse teams to develop inclusive classroom and academic practices, and partners with public entities to improve organizational and management performance. She is known for creating access and opportunities for the next generation of public sector and health scholars and designing community engaged research projects to address real-world problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vanessa Lopez-Littleton\u2019s area of expertise is health equity and seeking solutions to problems rooted in connections between health and social factors. She researches the structural causes of health inequities, with a focus on naming, measuring, and addressing the impacts of social, economic, and political influences on health and well-being. Her scholarship includes scholarly articles, book chapters, and presentations on topics related to health equity, social determinants of health, and administrative policies and practices. She has conducted numerous research studies and developed policy papers and research reports for state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
