Berger was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaihs.org\/introducing-new-contributors-to-black-perspectives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one of 13 scholars<\/a> from around the country to join the blog. He will be writing monthly pieces for Black Perspectives. His current article, &quot;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaihs.org\/black-genealogies-of-power-seven-maxims-for-resistance-in-the-trump-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Genealogies of Power<\/a>,&quot; looks at how Black activists have challenged racism and authoritarianism throughout history.
