This project is a collaboration with colleagues from the University of Notre Dame and University of Kentucky, and was funded by a grant from the <a href=\"https:\/\/ies.ed.gov\/funding\/grantsearch\/details.asp?ID=3286\">Institute for Education Sciences<\/a> at the U.S. Department of Education.<\/p>\n\n<p>Although Washington State does not have any virtual charter schools, the state does offer virtual schooling options through its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12.wa.us\/student-success\/learning-alternatives\/online-learning\">Alternative Learning Experience<\/a> programs.
