Javier Herrero, Ph.D.

Dr. Javier Herrero is a principal engineer and associate technical fellow at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Engineering Product Development, where he performs roles in digital engineering, airplane design, and computational aerostructures modeling and simulation. He holds a M.S. in Systems Design and Management from MIT, a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from NIAR-Wichita State University, in Wichita KS, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid Spain, School or Aeronautics and Space. He is an FAA Certified Private Pilot License and volunteered in the past as a search and rescue pilot with the Civil Air Patrol Washington Wing and currently volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America. He is fluent in Spanish and advanced in German.
