Lecturer Dion Crommarty introduces the concept of place-based education through his class “Place-Based Education Through the Prism of Blackness and Black Education.” His goal is to motivate students and future educators to explore the abundant contribution of African Americans in building and shaping local communities through learning their distinct perspectives and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
