Given annually, the award recognizes impactful community-engaged scholarship by UW Bothell faculty members.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UW Bothell defines\u202fcommunity engagement\u202fas the\u202fcollaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities (local, regional\/state, national, global) for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This work may be short- or long-term, be undertaken with single or multiple partners, and should have been active at UW Bothell within the past three years. It may be focused on teaching and learning, research, creative work, policy, democratic participation or community building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All faculty members who have worked at UW Bothell for at least three years are eligible to apply, including tenured and tenure-track faculty, teaching faculty, full- and part-time lecturers, and artists-in-residents.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nomination and application procedure&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations may be made by faculty, staff, students and community partners. \u202fA nomination is not required for a faculty member to apply and does not affect a faculty member\u2019s chances of being selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>足彩app哪个是正规的 2026 award process is now closed. Applications for the 2027 award will be due in early December 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Criteria for selection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong and productive working relationship with community partners; and\/or evidence of building that relationship over time.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong evidence of community engagement integrated within at least two of the three dimensions of scholarship (teaching, research or creative practice, and service).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alignment with UW Bothell\u2019s strategic initiatives: <ins><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/strategic-plan\/enhance\">Community and Campus Engagement<\/a><\/ins>; <ins><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/strategic-plan\/strengthen\">Diversity, Equity and Inclusion<\/a><\/ins>; and <ins><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/strategic-plan\/advance\">Cross-Disciplinary Teaching and Scholarship<\/a><\/ins>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualities of reciprocity and mutual respect. Examples of how reciprocity and mutual respect may come across in the applicant\u2019s materials include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Involve community partners in the design, facilitation, and\/or evaluation of the community engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Listen and understand the interests and benefits the community partner is looking for in partnership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mutual understanding of each other\u2019s missions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appreciation to community partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative problem posing and solving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-assessment and reflection within each partner group and between partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shared resources; fiscal, physical space, labor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community engagement scholarship has impact and\/or potential for impact.
