Huskies on the Hill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Huskies on the Hill is the annual UW lobby day organized by all three campuses to bring students down to Olympia during the legislative session. Participants meet with legislators, network with their peers, and help advocate for the policy goals of higher education.

Health & Wellness Fee Initiative<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did you know: Most of UW Bothell\u2019s health and wellness resources are funded by temporary support and are at risk of being reduced or eliminated. ASUWB is exploring how a new 足彩app哪个是正规的 Health & Wellness Fee could provide stable, long-term funding for current services as well as expand services \u2013 especially for those students who are struggling or may need it the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the future for Counseling Services, 足彩app哪个是正规的 Emergency Aid, and Health and Wellness Resources for UW Bothell students? Learn more about the proposed Health & Wellness Fee to secure permanent funding for these resources and offer new services to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why on-campus health and wellness services matter: community resources are limited, have long wait lists, and may not be available to all. 足彩app哪个是正规的 Counseling Center; Health & Wellness Resources Center; Husky Pantry; Violence Prevention and Advocacy Office; and 足彩app哪个是正规的 Emergency support program play a critical role in supporting students, especially those that need it the most. Academic School Advisory Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Building on the School of Business Advisory Group pilot program launched last year, which sees a group of Business students meet regularly with Dean Rajib Sanyal to identify areas of concern and improvement, we are working to establish similar programs in our other schools. Formed in 1982, the WSA is a lobbying group run by and for students, to amplify their voices in the legislative process for the benefit of public higher education. ASUWB has been and continues to be deeply involved with the WSA; this year, we attended the Fall General Assembly to confirm the legislative agenda. Campus Safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As our residential population expands, ASUWB is seeking to improve the presence of Campus Safety to meet these new demands. We’re pushing for increased lighting throughout campus and along 110th street, modifications to police presence on campus, the installation of surveillance cameras in parking garages, and we’re meeting with student advocates to discuss concerns surrounding the relationship between UWB and Bothell PD.<\/p>\n\n\n \n \n Campus Safety<\/span>\n \n \n \n \n<\/svg> <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/a>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
